How Renting a Storage Container Works
In short: Check a container is free, sign our simple storage agreement, pay the first month and a £50 padlock and key deposit, and move in. Payments are then taken automatically each month. To leave, give two weeks’ notice, empty and clean the container and hand back the key.
1. Check a container is free
Our container page shows whether one is free. When they are all let, it shows a waiting list form: leave your details and the date you need storage from, and we will contact you as soon as one comes free.
2. Book
Book and pay online when a container is free, call us on 07720 449888, or use our enquiry form.
3. Sign the storage agreement
We send you a simple terms and conditions storage agreement to sign. It sets out the rules, including what you can and cannot store.
4. Pay and get your key
You pay the first month (£130 including VAT) and a £50 refundable deposit, and we provide your padlock and key. Our prices page has the detail.
5. Move in
Find us with the map and what3words address, park beside your container and load straight in. Remember to arrange insurance for your contents: it is not included.
6. Monthly payments
From the second month, your payment is taken automatically each month and we email you an invoice. You don’t have to do anything.
7. Leaving
Give us two weeks’ notice. On the day you leave (or before), clean out the container and hand back the padlock and key. If all is in order, we return your deposit and any overpayment within 14 working days.
