What “Single Use” Means, and Why It Matters
Every container at Temple Bruer Storage is described as “single use”. It is a term from the shipping world, and it says a lot about the condition of the space you will be storing your things in.
What single use means
A single use container has not been heavily worn or used many times before arriving on site. Shipping containers are built to cross oceans, and many spend years being lifted, stacked and shipped before they end up as storage. A single use container has done far less of that, so it is cleaner and in better condition.
Why it matters for storage
Your furniture and boxes may be in the container for months or years, so its condition matters. A single use container gives you a cleaner, better-maintained space for your belongings, and our containers are completely waterproof.
Insulated as well
Each of our containers is also lined with spray-foam insulation, which keeps the temperature inside steadier so far less condensation forms. Together, single use and insulated mean your things are far less likely to come out damp and fusty. Our page on damp and condensation explains how it works.
